Roam Bear offers an exclusive "One-Click Install" experience optimized for iOS, so we currently only support iPhone models. Most iPhones released in 2018 or later, including iPhone XS, iPhone XR, and all subsequent models, are compatible (excluding models from Mainland China and some specific HK/Macau versions)

You can install an eSIM on your iPhone without removing your original physical SIM card. Enjoy high-speed international mobile data and the flexibility of switching between multiple plans. Just a few simple steps: 1) Download the Roam Bear eSIM App 2) Select your destination 3) Choose a suitable mobile data plan 4) Complete your payment 5) Once payment is finished, there's no need to wait for a QR code via email—simply tap 'Install eSIM' within the app to automatically import the settings. The entire process takes less than 5 minutes, and your eSIM can be activated within 180 days of purchase.

Absolutely! This is one of eSIM's biggest advantages. Your original SIM (physical card) continues working for calls and SMS, while the eSIM is dedicated to data. In your phone settings, you can separately configure 'SIM for Calls' and 'SIM for Data' - very flexible.

Roam Bear offers two types of flexible plans: 1) Fixed Total Data Plans: Available in 1GB, 2GB, 3GB, 5GB, 7GB, 10GB, 20GB, and 50GB options, perfect for travelers with specific data needs. 2) Daily Unlimited Plans: Choose from 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, or 15 days. These plans include 1GB of high-speed data daily; once exceeded, speeds are reduced to 1.25Mbps, which remains functional for messaging and navigation. All plans support hotspot sharing to keep you connected throughout your trip.

These are two distinct concepts: 1) Installation (Recommended before departure): This refers to setting the eSIM to your phone. We suggest completing this 1-2 days before your trip in a stable and secure network environment to avoid setting issues caused by unstable airport Wi-Fi. 2) Activation (Upon arrival): Roam Bear eSIM validity only begins once you connect to a local network at your destination. Recommendation: Complete the installation before departure and switch the eSIM off (do not delete it). Upon arrival, turn on your Roam Bear eSIM and enable 'Data Roaming' to start using the internet. Crucial: Please remember to turn off your primary SIM card to prevent any unexpected roaming charges.

Currently, if your data is exhausted, you will need to purchase and install a new Roam Bear eSIM plan. However, we will shortly be launching a 'Top-up' feature, which will allow you to add data directly to your existing eSIM without needing to download a new profile. Until this feature is available, we recommend choosing a plan with sufficient data before your trip or purchasing a supplemental plan in advance to ensure continuous connectivity.

Follow these steps on your iPhone to check the eSIM issuer: 1) Open 'Settings' and tap 'Cellular'. 2) Under the SIMs section, tap the eSIM you wish to check. 3) The 'Carrier' name will be displayed at the top of the page. Common providers include CMCC/CMHK (China), 1GLOBAL (UK), and eSIM Go (UK).
